1957 Model Production in the USA
1957 Chevrolet Products
As in 1955 and 1956, the two most popular models were the 4 Door Sedans, with the 210 model out-selling the B/A model by 9,244 units.
1957 saw the B/A 2 Door Hardtop jump from its number 4 position in 1955 and 1956 to the number 3 position. 1955 lead the way with production of the B/A 2 Door Hardtops, with 189,269, followed by 1957 with 168,293, and only 130,778of them being built in 1956. In 1957, there were 48,068 B/A Convertibles sold in the USA, while in 1956 there were 41,883, ONLY 395 LESS than in 1955.

As in the previous 2 years, the sporty Nomad 2 Door Wagon had the least number of models built, and this version appeared for the last time in 1957. In spite of their glamour, Nomads were pricy and less practical than traditional wagons. For every Nomad built in 1957, over 4 times as many B/A Townsman 4 Door Wagons were sold.
